Wilczek Wigner Lecture: Symmetries of Time

Nobel Laureate and theoretical physicist Frank Wilczek began his Eugene P. Wigner
Distinguished Lecture at ORNL on Monday (4/1), titled “Symmetries of Time,” by
expressing a lifelong admiration for the lecture series' namesake, Eugene Wigner.
“He was responsible for the injection of symmetry into quantum theory,” he said.
“Wigner clarified how to implement symmetry in the reversal of time.”
