Title: Symmetries of Time
Abstract: Time displays two fundamental symmetries: time reversal, T, and time translation, Τ (Tau). They inspire fruitful questions: Why is T very accurate, but not quite exact? Can Τ (Tau) be broken spontaneously? Those questions lead into axions and time crystals, respectively, two subjects currently at the forefront of research in physics.
